Richard Duane Wise

Richard Duane Wise was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and lived a life filled with an extraordinary capacity for joy and love for his family. After an extended illness, he passed away on July 25, 2015 with his family at his side. Richard was one of six children born to his devoted mother, Dorothy VonDolteren Wise and the late Britton I. Wise, Jr. He is survived by his two beloved sons, Christopher Boyles and Daniel Wise, as well as his wife Claire. His surviving siblings include Dorothy Moore (Eddie); Britton I. Wise, III (MaryAnn); and Mark L. Wise. Richard was preceded in death by two brothers, James Dean Wise and Robert Lamar Turner. Richard was the uncle of the late Diane Rene Wise, Britton I. Wise IV, Mark L. Wise, Jr., Jenna Myers, Reagan Riley and Jennifer E. Keener (Franklin).
