

He was born October 21, 1949 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Horace Duncan and Ella Higginbotham Warren. He grew up in Hardeeville, S.C. and has lived in the Savannah area for the past couple of years. Mr. Warren was employed with Georgia Mansfield and later with the State of Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Leona W. Naplitano and Gladys W. Vassallo and by two brothers, Russell and Earl Warren.
He is survived by three daughters, Stephanie (Feliciano) Adame of Illinois, Kathryn (Andrew) Skokna of Rincon, Ga., and Teresa Warren of Philadelphia, two sons, Stephen E. Warren, Jr. and Michael Warren both of Philadelphia, sisters, Ethel W. Cosby, Mary W. Simmons, Irene W. Burke, and Linda W. Bottoms, brothers, Horace Hampton Warren and Claude Warren, fifteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning, 11:00 a.m., at the Fairhaven Funeral Home chapel located in Garden City, Georgia.
The family will receive friends at the Fairhaven Funeral Home, Garden City , from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday evening.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorials be made to the Warren family, c/o Fairhaven Funeral Home, 2794 U.S. Hwy. 80 West, Garden City, Ga., 31408, in memory of Mr. Steve Warren.
Burial will be in the Wynn Cemetery, Hampton County, South Carolina.
