Annie Elizabeth Reese

Mrs. Reese enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting and was very musically gifted. She served as a church organist for many years and also worked as a church secretary for 21 years. Her life was centered on her family, faith and community. She enjoyed being involved with New Hope Senior Citizens and going on trips with the church.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Reese (Donna) of Lowell, NC and Ann Reese Walker of Wirtz, VA; grandchildren, Toby and Franklin Walker, Matthew and Melanie Reese; great grandchildren, Alicia and Robin Walker and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family extends their gratitude to special family members and extended family and friends who helped with the care of our mother. We love and appreciate you very much.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Bethesda United Methodist Church, 3714 S. New Hope Rd., Gastonia, NC 28056; or to the charity of donor’s choice.
