Brenda was born on February 01,1942 in Bessemer City, NC, to the late Grady Levi Hedgepeth and the late Floy Claystee Craig.
In her spare time, Brenda found much joy in puzzles and even framing them as gifts for special occasions. She has also been an active church member at Gaston Baptist Church since the early 1960’s. She loved being a part of the “Tuesday Morning Group” where she and other Church members went to different nursing homes to spend time with patients to offer words of encouragement.
Survivors include her son, Davis (Eddie) Lee and wife, Wendy; daughters, Ann Lee, Ruth Lee Haizlip (Ricky), Carolyn Ivey (Richard), and Angela Lee; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Cloninger; 2 nephews and 1 niece.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM at Gaston Baptist Church in Dallas, NC. A service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at Gaston Baptist Church. The committal service will follow all services at Gaston Memorial Park Cemetery at 1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054.
