Brittany Marie Bailey

Brittany Marie Bailey, 24, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Brittany first and foremost loved the Lord and loved to pray for others and touched many lives in her young life. She was a cheerleader for the Bessemer City Storm, received an honorary Black Belt through York Academy of Self-Defense and loved to dance. Her nick-names were Punkin Pie and MaMa’s Angel, Rittany, MaMa, Sissy Pace. Her favorite prayer was 1, 2, 3 …in Jesus Name, Amen!!

Left behind to cherish her memory are her mother and father, James and Vickie Bailey of York, SC; siblings, Thomas Ryan Smith Bailey, Christopher Alexander Bailey, Ashlyn Sierra Bailey and Bethany Sienna Bailey; Grandmother, Kay Bailey; great-aunts, Doe-Doe and Tammy; aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Moffatt Bailey, Frances Smith, Jack Smith and L. Roy Ramsey.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM, Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Laurel Wood Baptist Church in Bessemer City. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 9:00 PM, Saturday, January 30 at the church.
