Rick's dedication to the basics in life like family and religion was always unwavering. For a time in college he even went by the computer nickname Obsidian (the black rock). The black part was thought to refer to a low-key personality that others who also had low-key personalities could get, but really it was the rock part that was much more important over time. He will be sorely missed. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
