Frederick Junior "Goochie" Crawford

Frederick Junior “Goochie” Crawford, age 74 passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina after an unfortunate accident. Junior was a self-employed auto mechanic.

Junior was the son of the late Frederick R. Crawford and Doneva Holbrook Crawford. He was also preceded in death by one brother Hal Dean Crawford and one sister Starlene Crawford.

Those left to cherish his memories are his three daughters: Dana Blackmon, Lynn Astin, Stacie Wilkie and husband Richard; three sons: James Crawford, John Crawford and Scott Crawford; Mother of their children: Phyllis Raines; three sisters: Rhonda Crawford, Linda Dockery and Phyllis Moss; two brothers: Harold Crawford and Jackie Crawford; seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren: Companion: Judy Schrader.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM, Saturday April 29, 2017 at Carothers Funeral Home Chapel at Gaston Memorial Park, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia, North Carolina with Reverend Dennis Harper to officiate.

The family will receive guest from 5:00 PM ~ 7:00 PM prior to the service.
