Garifalia Lisa Miller

Lisa was born on December 24, 1959 in Toronto, CAN to Michael and Iphigenia Topaltzas. She resided in upstate, NY for 28 years before moving to Gastonia, NC over 6 years ago. Lisa was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Lisa is survived by her husband George Miller, mother, Iphigenia Topaltzas; her father and mother-in-law, Jim and Linda Miller; her siblings, Maria (Diamond) Psarianos, John Topaltzas, Tina (Ben) Tortora-Lynn, Jimmy (Maribel) Topaltzas; and her nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Lisa was known for her pure selflessness and kindness. She always gave without expectation of receiving as well as helped family, friends, and strangers alike without question. Lisa was a loved and respected employee for many companies during her life as she always put in 200% of her energy and passion into any project, big or small. She was known to be animated and enthusiastic as she told stories that would have the room in tears from laughing so hard. The loss of Lisa is a tragedy to all that knew her and her life will be honored and remembered with love, now and always.

Visiting Hours will be held on Saturday October 28, 2017, from 1-3 pm with services immediately following at Carothers Funeral Home, 2205 Williamsburg Dr. Gastonia NC 28054.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lisa’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org.
