Jean was born in Franklin, TN but she became a lifelong resident of Gaston County at a young age. After graduating Ashley High School, she worked in accounting at Holsum Bakery.By the time she had retired from Covenant Village in 2010, she had relocated to Belmont.
She enjoyed gardening, sitting with her friends on her patio, laughing and enjoying her favorite glass of wine. As her health declined in the last few years, she was unable to work in her yard but she still enjoyed visits from her friends and getting on Facebook.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Kelly and husband Neil Kelly of Gastonia and Lori Armstrong of Belmont; three grandchildren, Lauren Kelly of Gastonia, Kyle Morris and wife Whitney Morris of North Richland Hills, TX, Kristin Morris and partner Kelsey Luks of Queens, NY and great grandchild, Pollux Kelly of Gastonia.
She will be greatly missed by both her family and friends.
