Robin Remona Brafford Michael

This is the essence of Robin Brafford Michael, 61, who passed away unexpectedly at her home on February 5, 2017. She was a natural born giver, of herself and her life. Robin was born February 9, 1955 in Gaston County to the late Horace and Helen (Weaver) Brafford. She was a member of First Baptist Church Lowell her entire life and was involved in many facets of church life. She taught children’s Sunday school, worked as church secretary for several years, taught vacation Bible school and gave of herself in many other ways to her church. She worked for over 20 years at Apperson Print Management but most of all she enjoyed cooking, shopping, gardening and everything Christmas! Her family will always remember her humble personality, love for other people and how much she enjoyed life.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 25 years, Gaylard “Sonny” Michael of Lowell, NC; sister, Trilby Hallman and husband, Jim of Belmont, NC, brother, Nick Brafford and wife, Gayle of Gastonia, NC; four step-children; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at First Baptist Church Lowell on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 3:00 PM. Reverend Todd Hallman will preside.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
