Ruth Willis Ledbetter

Ruth Willis Ledbetter, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family members on March 1, 2017. She loved spending time with her family and deeply cherished her grandchildren. Ruth was a faithful member of Riverwood Worship Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Bobby Dean Ledbetter. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Wanda Schronce and husband Doug, Deborah Webster and husband Claude, Sandy Warren and husband Steve, and Susan Threlkeld. She was a loving grandmother to Bobby Webster and wife Jennifer, Nicholas Schronce and wife Roxy, Tosha Johnson and husband Eric, Taylor Phillips, Brittany Threlkeld and fiancée Will Price. Ruth was the proud great-grandmother of five great grandchildren. In addition she is survived by six sisters and one brother.

A special thanks to Maribeth Hill, Lea Goodsen, and Walt Windley of Lincoln County Hospice for their kind and nurturing caregiving.

Friends are invited to join her family in celebration of her life on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park. Tim Elliott and Walt Windley will officiate her celebration. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
