Wayne Carroll Carroll Garrison

Gastonia – Wayne Carroll Garrison, 73, of Rowe Street passed away December 9, 2011 at CMC Lincolnton.

A native of Gaston County, he was the son of the late James Garfield and Mary Blanche Glover.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Trivette Garrison of Gastonia; sons, Gary Vestal and wife, Kim of Cramerton, Larry Vestal and wife, Angie of Cramerton; brother, Ronald Garrison and wife, Barbara of Ranlo; grandchildren, Shane, Miranda, Mitchell, Jessica, and Justin Vestal; great grandchildren, Willow, Alexis, Khloe, Coby and Tammy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jo Hester.

A funeral service will be held 2:30 pm Monday in the Colonial Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia with Rev. Sammy Oxendine officiating.

Burial will be at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 pm Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
