

Adam Christopher Cortinas was born October 19, 1994 and passed away January 11, 2014 in Florence, Texas. He was junior fire fighter for the Florence Fire Department for 3 ½ years. Adam was very outgoing, very loving and very funny. He had a strong heart for the people he loved and would do anything to help someone out. Adam loved to joke around and was so full of life.
He was preceded in death by grandmother Guadalupe Cortinas, grandfather Gene Shannon, uncles Albert Cortinas and Christopher Shannon, and aunts Linda Cortinas and Laurale Anne Shannon.
He will forever live in the hearts of his family: father Adam Cortinas, mother Theresa Cortinas, two sisters Ashley Crow and husband Mikell and Amber Johannsen and husband Brandon, nieces Ciara and Zara Crow, nephews Jate Crow and Zaidyn Cortinas, grandfather Estevan Cortinas, grandmother Joan Shannon, and many other family members.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from four o’clock to eight o’clock in the evening on Wednesday the 15th of January 2014 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon the 16th of January 2014 in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home with Brother Bill Eye officiating. Interment will follow at Florence City Cemetery in Florence,Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lucas Watts, Garrett Weiss, Dustin Weiss, Mikell Crow, Steven Crow and Clayton Hartzog. Honorary pallbearers will be Devin Yartz, Billy Hope and Austin Hattaway.
