

Albert Dow Fulton, 81, of Florence, Texas passed away peacefully on December 21, 2015 while holding the hand of his beloved wife of 64 years and surrounded by many love ones. Albert was born on March 9, 1934 to Thomas and Lena Fulton in Lampasas, Texas.
Albert was a very hard worker. Albert worked for 60 plus years as a brick and stone mason to provide for his family. He was a member of the Lawler Baptist Church in Florence, Texas. He was known for his equine riding and roping, Scout Leadership, Citizen Honors, and an Election Judge. Albert was an enthusiastic outdoorsman. He loved and was loved by many family and friends. Albert was always quick to provide help for others when needed, as well as telling many funny jokes and stories.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Russell, Rufus, Bryan, and Claude Fulton, two sisters Ruth Verningo and Anna Faye Starkey and two sons Aubrey and Joel Fulton.
Albert is survived by his devoted wife, Hattie Fulton; son, James and wife Tammy Fulton of Manhattan, Kansas; daughter, Ella and husband Clint Pemberton of Buchanan Dam, Texas; son, Billy Fulton of Florence, Texas; daughter, Tammy Smith and spouse Glen Penner of Florence, Texas; two daughter in-laws, D’Lane Fulton and Delores Fulton both of Florence, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brothers, Robert and Ernest Fulton; and sister, Hazel Oliver.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 with a funeral service to follow in the chapel at 7:00 P.M. with Brother Roy Smith officiating. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, Texas with Clint Pemberton officiating.
Pallbearers will be Toby Fulton, Brandon Fulton, Michael Smith, George Pemberton, Cormi Smith Jr., Dylan Strain, and Zak Lawson. Honorary pallbearers are Randell Fletcher, Quinton Hughes, Howard Lindsey, Henry Brizendine and Bud Gower.
