Amanda Lynn Morrison

 She is survived by her Father, Lewis Morrison of Amarillo; mother, Farris Morrison of Georgetown; brother, Mark Morrison and his partner Patrick Daly of Dallas.

She graduated from Liberty Hill High School in 1987 and from West Texas A&M with a degree in Animal Science, then a degree in Wildlife Management. She was also a nationally certified horse instructor with CHA.

After working at ROCK in Georgetown, she built an equestrian facility near Andice where she taught horsemanship, held summer camps, and boarded horses.

Her passion was her family, her animals, and horses. When cancer changed her life, she fought with determination for six years, an inspiration in courage.

There will be a gathering to share memories of Mandy for her friends and family, Saturday, December 10,2016 at 2:00 pm, at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to ROCK (Ride on Center for Kids) in Georgetown.
