He was born April 16, 1976, in Stayton, OR to Thomas W. Fawver and Darlene S. (Franke) Fawver. He graduated from Elko High School at Elko, NV. After high school he returned to the Black Hills of South Dakota and attended Black Hills State University. He began his career at International Game Technology (SODAK/IGT) and moved to Reno, NV where he achieved his bachelors degree in Business Management. Brad married Amber Pearson in Austin, TX and settled down in Reno, NV. After the birth of their two sons, they relocated to Georgetown, Texas in 2013, where he accepted a position as an IT Director at the University of Texas at Austin.
Brad (AKA Bubba) was a devoted husband and father of his two incredible boys Caden and Dustin Fawver. He enjoyed the outdoors, volunteering on his sons' baseball teams, traveling, camping, hiking, good food, wine, and great conversation. Brad was a kind and an incredible friend to anyone who met him. He touched every person he came into contact with in one way or another.
Brad was preceded in death by his father, Thomas W. Fawver. He is survived by his two sons, Caden and Dustin Fawver and their mother, Amber Fawver of Georgetown, TX; mother, Darlene Franke-Dowdy of McCook, NE; step-father, Randy Dowdy of Douglas, WY; step-mother, Rose Vrooman of McCook, NE; brother, Patrick Fawver and wife, Tacie Fawver of McCook, NE; sisters, Tammy Fawver of McCook, NE and Amy Jones of Douglas, WY; 9 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces.
