I still can’t believe Cesar is gone . According to 
Philippians  1:21  “ For me to live is Christ and to die is gain” So sad but rejoicing for heaven gain anorher son. Trully you live with Christ  and serve the Lord according to His purpose.

Bro. Granados was one of the kindest, most gentle men I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He must have been to load up a crew of giggling, squealing 8 year olds to take home in between Sunday services, almost every Sunday. Even when the crew turned into moody, dramatic 13 year olds, he still did it. (He made us THE original passenger princesses). Those Sundays were spent eating the best Filipino food (iykyk), playing the BEST rounds of hide and seek (the under-the-stairs closet makes the best hiding spot, anyone!?!), eating entire gallons of ice cream, making H-E-B runs, and drinking whole pots of coffee. I think they were trying to calm us down with said coffee, nevertheless we persevered. 
As we grew, and Moni, Devon, and I did life together, I got to see him at the big things- high school graduations, college graduations, and weddings. Always a steady, faithful, and fun presence. I searched for a picture with him, and couldn’t find one, because he was always making sure everyone else was in the photo. 
I’m not sure exactly when the Granados’ started calling me their white daughter but I responded in kind-calling them my asian parents. I’ll miss his fist bumps, his peace signs, his goofy demeanor, and the way he said my name(uh-lee-sah). Rest in the arms of Jesus, Bro. G-we’ll see you soon.

Dearest Ate Tess and Moni,

The loss of a loved one is never easy and we cannot imagine the grief you both experiencing.  We all praying to give you strength in the days ahead.    May his soul rest in eternal peace.  Amen.

Sorry Tess, I wanted to hug you for my condolences on Cesar's loss. I couldn't. Just always remember that I love you and Cesar very much. For your kindness. And even though we didn't meet, Cesar showed us his goodness and love for your two mothers. I thank Cesar with all my heart for giving us help. I will never forget this as long as I live. Tessie, I love you very much. Take care of yourself and be strong and firm. Cesar is no longer here... Thank you Cesar, I thank you. Rest in peace, be happy in the choice of our Lord.

I’m so thankful to have known and loved you, to be loved by you, and to have had you as my dad. You were always there for me; helping me with my homework, at every piano recital, every band concert, every football game, every competition, and helped me move into every dorm or apartment anytime I moved. You watched me fall in love, and I watched you love Michael as if he were your own son. Growing up I knew I wanted a love like you and mom. I’m glad I had you and mom as an example of what unconditional love was. While I feel your absence everyday, I find comfort in seeing the influence you had on your environment and those around you. I love that when I look at myself, I see your influence there. Your humor, your determination, your quiet yet reflective demeanor are all things I love and adore about you. I hope to be just as amazing as you one day. I miss you, and I love you, dad.

Cesar was a man defined by love. Everything he did was out of it. Every action was because of it. There wasn't an ounce of hate in his heart. 
I don't know how such a wonderful human being came to be such a paragon of virtue. I wish I had a blueprint. Some sort of step by step guide to be such a loving human being. 
Cesar gave me my wife, Moniliz. She's my everything. When I first met her, I thought she was too good to be real. I couldn't comprehend how such a cruel world made such a wonderful human being. When I got to know both Cesar and Tess, I understood. These wonderful human beings continued to pour love into her, and she too became love. 
I see Cesar in her. I see Cesar in doing favors for people unconditionally. When I see love itself, I see Cesar. Let's all live a life of love. A life like Cesar's.

I am Evelyn Caluag Dinio, the youngest sister of Teresita Granados. 
Cesar called me Belen that would make me feel I had a big brother with a kind heart. He would always give words of wisdom reflecting his dependence on God. His godly, humble & meek spirit is an ultimate testimony that he lived a life honoring God. He was one of the few who gave my family  strength and comfort during the trying times when my granddaughter was  in ICU more than a year now. He is also the godfather of my youngest son. Cesar will be dearly missed but 
eternal life is promised knowing that he has found rest in God's presence.

It signifies that our strength is not derived from our circumstances, but from God's joy, which is a source of unwavering love, support & encouragement. Amidst the challenges of losing our beloved Cesar, we can find resilience and hope with our relationship with God and His love.

I haven't seen Cesar since the summer of 1998, when he was still living in New York.  After his family moved to Texas, we've relied on social media to stay in touch from time to time. My memories of Cesar are filled with his kindness, friendly nature, and infectious humor, not to mention his dedication as a husband and father. Rest in peace my friend!🙏

Beth and I were so honor to witness Kuya Cesar offer you his love; it was a beautiful moment. A day filled with such joy and love.  Though life kept us from spending as much time with him as we wished, we always knew the depth of his kindness and generosity; he was always so good to us. Now that Kuya Cesar is embraced by the Lord's loving arms, we offer our deepest gratitude for the precious time we shared.  Thank you, Kuya Cesar, for your unwavering love for your family and for the warmth you always showed us.  You will be deeply missed.

Being married to you for 33 long years was one of the best gifts I have ever received from above. Like I won a mega million dollar lottery jackpot. I would be willing to give up that prize just to make you comeback. 
 
 Your sudden and unexpected passing is so unbearable and hard to endure. You did not even say goodbye to me. 
 
 Our house was once filled with laughter, love, harmony, joy and peace now is like a deafening silence all around. 
 I terribly miss you! I love you!. Life without you is void, empty and meaningless.

We are SO blessed to have celebrated with Ate Tess and Kuya Cesar at our baby shower.

When the Lord calls one of his own to his side, there is sorrow for those left who loved and shared memories. Cesar will be missed by all who were touched by his light of unconditional love, selflessness and heart of gold. When my sons lost their father three years ago, Cesar showed them love and acceptance as though they were one of his own.  Uniting our families through the marriage of our children was one of the most unexpected blessings our families could experience. The love we had for you Cesar will be carried on as we continue to love Tess and Moni in your absence. We will see you again one day and share in the rejoicing of our Heavenly Father.
