
Doris Julia White entered the joys of heaven on April 26, 2015. She was born in LaGrange, TX on September 7, 1926 to Robert Otto Bollmeyer and Julia Rose (Krenek) Bollmeyer. She died in Georgetown, TX at the age of 88. She was baptized as an infant and confirmed in her teen years. Doris attended grade school at Trinity Hill Lutheran School then went on to LaGrange High School, graduating in 1944. In 1945, Doris married Raymond Naumann, in their 23 years together they were blessed with three daughters; Yvonne Annette, Sheryl Jane, and Carla Grace. Her service to the Lord through church work was on a broad level for more than 40 years. During that time she served two terms as District President of the Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWMS) TX Gulf Coast Circuit. Her employment, also for many years was that of a secretary in a medical clinic in Angleton, TX, and as a secretary in row crops thru the TX Agriculture Extension Services based on Texas A&M University campus College Station, TX. She also was active in several worthwhile community clubs and organizations. Her favorite hobbies were photography, flower gardening, floral arranging. In 1977, Doris married Hubie (Buddy) White. After retirement in 1995, Doris and Buddy moved to Georgetown TX, and were charter members of Cross and Crown Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Church. Buddy preceded Doris in 2003. Also preceding her are her parents, and a brother, David H. Bollmeyer. She is survived by her daughters: Yvonne (Dennis) Cadra, Andrews, TX; Sheryl Young, LaHabra, CA; and Carla (Richard) DeFrain, Belmont, CA. Seven grandchildren: Dr. Stefan (Hillary) Cadra, Cibolo, TX; Danny Cadra, Lubbock, TX; Kirsten (Steven) White, Miramar, FL & Liberia, Africa; Jennifer (Dr. Dennis) Chia, New York City, NY; Rev. Sean DeFrain, Woodland Hills, CA; Casey (Jaymie) DeFrain, Watertown, WI; Sheena (Rev. Robin) Zeratsky, Florence, WI. 6 Great-Granddaughters: Camille, Kylie, Molly, Samantha, Olive, and Rowan. Brother, Buddy (Lillie Mae) Bollmeyer; and Sister, Maryln (Bill) Trlica, along with several nephews, nieces and cousins. The family would like to thank Terri Hatfield and her Staff (Kathy, June, Claudia, Leslie, Augustina) at MeMe's Place for the love, concern and care you provided our Mother these past several months. Also Pastor Hartzell & members of Cross & Crown Lutheran Church...with special admiration & love for Mashelle Ozment, who, with a servant's heart and friendship, showed compassion, care & love to the end when holding mother's hand. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at the Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH-35, Georgetown, Texas. A service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 10am at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church, 2800 Shell Road, Georgetown. Interment to follow at IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown.
