Her birth given name was Edubijen, but known as Edna and Vickie. Edna being her legal name and Vickey was a name close friends called her. She was born in Stanton, Texas on October 16, 1922. Her family moved to Nebraska when she was in her 20’s to work the potatoes fields and beet fields. She met her husband, Joe, in the potato warehouse. They married and had four children, Josephine (Rudy), James (Pam), Jack (Lisa), and Jerry (Diane).
Due to their declining health and age, Edna and Joe were moved to Georgetown, Texas in 2014. They were both cared for until the Lord called for them.
Edna was strong willed and determined who always put her family first. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, her son James and her daughter Josephine.
