

Hazel T. Williams, age 76, of Georgetown, Texas went to be with the Lord on June 28, 2014. She was born December 17, 1937 in Bastrop County to David and Anna Taylor. She was a 1956 graduate of LaGrange High School.
Hazel is survived by her husband of 53 years, Willie Williams; sisters and best friends, Betty Gordon and Mary Scarboro; brother, “Sonny” David Taylor, Jr.; daughters, Lisa Roberts of Salado and Rhonda Axelson and husband Matt of Georgetown; grandsons, Justin Axelson and Brandon Roberts and wife Brandy; granddaughters, Jacey Roberts and Angel Callan and husband Carter; great grandchildren, Kyler Roberts, Reagan Roberts, Cahill Callan and Cutter Callan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Anna Taylor; in-laws, Fred and Bonnie Johnson; brother and sister- in-law, Bud and Marlene Williams; brother- in-law, Paul Gordon; and son-in-law, David Roberts.
Hazel and Willie shared together a love to withstand generations along with a love of horse racing and family gatherings. Hazel enjoyed her family to the fullest and loved to capture every moment by “always having her camera ready and snapping photos”. She also enjoyed traveling and of course, shopping. She was a strong woman and will be greatly missed by all.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 1. Services will be held Wednesday, July 2 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home with Gary Whitbeck officiating. Interment will be at Bagdad Cemetery in Leander, Texas. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryon Williams, Brandon Roberts, Anthony Williams, Ricky Williams, Kenny Anastas, Justin Axelson and Tommy Whitzel. Honorary pallbearers are Matt Axelson, Carter Callan, Cahill Callan, Cutter Callan and Kyler Roberts.
