On May 17th, 2011, Our Heavenly Father called home, J.L. (Skeet) (Mac) McLearen. He was born on June 18th, 1926, in Marlow, Oklahoma to Vernie and Leatha McLearen as the middle child in that family. He served his country in the Signal Corps in World War II. J.L. attended college on the G.I. Bill, he then met his to be wife, Maudie. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding this year on June 16th.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Maudie; their three sons, Lyn, Gary and Jeff and their families; his sister, Ona Mitchell and her family in Security, Colorado.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 20, 2011 in the chapel of the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Burial will follow at Weir Cemetery in Weir, Texas.
