Josephine Anna Trautmann

Jo was a resident of The Wesleyan at Estrella Independent Living facility in Georgetown, Texas. Previously, she was a resident of Sun City in Georgetown, Texas for about 20 years. She also lived and worked in various places, including Carrolton, Texas; Diego Garcia (an island in the Indian Ocean); Israel; San Francisco, California; Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, and she was of Polish descent. She will be greatly missed by family and her many friends.

Jo was the mother of four children, two girls and two boys. She was later very happily married to Albert Richard (Dick) Trautmann, who passed away in 2012. She worked in various different occupations, including office manager, technical writer, and teacher. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Literary Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas later in life. She traveled to many different places across the globe, including many different locations in North America, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, Antarctica, the Atlantic Ocean, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Pacific Ocean.

A memorial service will be held for Jo at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 27, 2019 at The Wesleyan at Estrella Independent Living Facility, 139 Estrella Crossing, in the Hewlett Community Room, East Side, 1st Floor.
