Laura Donella Anderson

She was born to the late Peggy Gene Parr and Lathan Donel Clemmer, Sept. 14, 1962, in Mangum, Oklahoma. Laura graduated from Bel Air High School (El Paso, TX) in 1980.

She married the late Allen Eugene Anderson in 1990, and they lived together in San Angelo for many years before relocating to Las Vegas then to the Austin/Round Rock area to be closer to her children and grandchild. Laura is survived by her children: Erika Sarinana, of Pflugerville, TX; Allen Michael Anderson, of Round Rock, TX; two stepdaughters Savannah Files (Anderson) & family, of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Ashley Anderson & family, of Somerset, Kentucky; her sister Alice Kessinger, of Las Vegas, Nevada; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by one grandchild, Jovan Samuel-Luis Sheridan of Pflugerville, TX. Laura was predeceased by her husband, Allen Anderson, in 2002; sister, Tomalene Araiza, in 2016 and twin brother, Leonard Donel Clemmer.

Laura was an avid book reader and would light up any room with her presence and smile. She loved her children and grandson with all her heart and was always there to support them in any way she could.

A visitation for Laura will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 5:00 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628. A rosary service will begin at 6:00 PM with a funeral following the rosary at 7:00 PM.
