Marian E. Croome

Marian Edna Croome was born June 20, 1932 in Salisbury, England, the daughter of Reginald Sidney and Kate (Blake) Jay. She passed from t his life April 1, 2023 in College Station, Texas, at the age of 90.

Marian and Alec Croome were united in marriage on February 21, 1953 in Salisbury, England and in 1964 they moved to Westminster, Colorado. While in Colorado, Marian enjoyed showing horses and toy poodles. She and her husband Alec traveled to many places, including New Zealand and trips back home to England. Marian also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, bingo and taking her beloved Trixie to the dog park. Marian was a member of the Sun City Brit Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Alec Croome; her parents, Reginald and Kate Jay and a brother, Richard Jay. She is survived by her children, Richard Croome and Tracey Foglesong; grandchildren, Jaeson Madison, Jayme Croome and Trevor Croome; sister, Linda Rumbold and brother, Adrian Jay.

Memorial services will be held Friday, April 7, 2023 at 2pm at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas.
