

Myron Charles Andersen II (Max) passed away on Saturday, May 31 in Georgetown in the loving company of his wife, Rebecca J. Andersen (Becky) and daughter Alexandra Grace Andersen (Allie). He was born in Columbo, Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) on March 22, 1959.
Max traveled with his family throughout his growing up years, living in and visiting numerous countries around the world including India, Malaysia,and Hong Kong. As a result, he had great appreciation for diverse cultures and foods. His early education was overseas and his high school years and graduation were in Houston, Texas. He went on to live in the Midwest where he attended Northwest Missouri State. He lived for many years in Round Rock and Georgetown. Max enjoyed reading, and had a vast interest and knowledge of history and the military, especially a love of airplanes. He enjoyed sailing, camping, and shared a passion for shooting black powder with many friends and family members. He was a loving family man and a wonderful cook, sharing his world travels through food. He also accompanied his family to many events at St. Richard’s Episcopal, but especially enjoyed volunteering in the pumpkin patch every year.
Max is survived by his wife, Becky and daughter, Allie; mother, Lucile Mary Wallbaum Andersen; and siblings, Lindy Brigham and husband Steve, Chris Andersen and wife Gloria and Susan Andersen and husband Dr. Robert Fernandez. He was preceded in death by his father, Myron Charles Andersen.
To honor Max’s life, a memorial service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 14 at St. Richard’s Episcopal Church, 1420 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock, Texas with the Rev. F. Stuart Shelby, Rector, officiating.
