

He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He worked in construction as his adult occupation. His hobby was raising, riding, roping and training horses.
MJ was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Pansy Southworth Kimbro and his oldest sister, JoAnn Kimbro Lyda. He is survived by his sisters, June Kimbro Shaver and Sharon Kimbro Walden. Nieces include Denise Shaver Miller, D'Ann Shaver Gimenez, Melissa Walden Ainsley and DeLayne Walden Myers. Nephews are Michael Lyda, Patrick Lyda and Dennis Shaver. As well as a number of great nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation with the family on Monday, January 24, 2022 from noon until 1 pm at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, with the funeral service beginning at 1 pm. MJ will be laid to rest at IOOF Cemetery following the services.
