During her high school years, Patsy was a volunteer in a local nursing home driving the residents to and from appointments, or even up to Dairy Hill for an ice cream treat.
She traveled throughout Texas as an avid softball player and was a Georgetown High School graduate. She went on to work mainly in engineering at AirBorn, for over 40 years, until her retirement in 2015. Patsy was also an extremely gifted bowler. She had a large capacity to love and had an enormous affection for dogs.
Patsy is survived by her brother, Dickie and his wife Carolyn, her sister by choice and best friend Susan Craig, five nieces and nephews: Penny and her husband Jay Dorfman, Joy and her husband Michael Sansom, Ronnie Gardner and his wife Jennifer, Shelby Craig and Bailey Snyder. Patsy is also survived by great nieces and nephews, Linsey Gardner, Megan Sansom, Brenton Gardner, Garrett Sansom, Stephen Dorfman and his wife Callie, Brandon Gardner, Lauren Gardner, Sarah Dorfman and fiancée Samuel, Logan Gardner, by 3 great-great nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Ozzy.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Cleddie Gardner and Lila Gardner and her brother, Jimmy Gardner.
A visitation for Patsy will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 23, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Berry Creek Cemetery, TX-195, Georgetown, TX 78633.
