

Randy was born on August 31, 1977 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Hazel Lehman and Danny McWilliams. He grew up in a military family and moved around as a child. He graduated from Eastwood High School in El Paso, Texas in 1995. As a teenager, he liked Star Trek and loved to spend time off-roading in the sand dunes of the desert. Randy served for a short time in the U.S. Army before being medically discharged. He moved to the Austin area in 1996 where he would later meet Danette, the love of his life, in 1998 and whom he married on May 6, 2006. Randy and Danette had their first child, Justin Darrell McWilliams on August 13, 2008 and their family was complete with the birth of their daughter, Ashley Carol McWilliams on September 19, 2012.
Randy had a passion for law enforcement and dedicated his life to helping others as an EMT, Volunteer Fire Fighter and Security Officer and Medical 1st Responder for the LCRA.
Above all, Randy was a dedicated family man, a loving husband, brother, son and uncle, an amazing and proud father and a true friend. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Carol Kessel.
Randy is survived by his wife, Danette McWilliams; son, Justin and daughter, Ashley of Leander; mother, Hazel Lehman of Austin; father and step-mother, Danny and Gina McWilliams of Round Rock; brother, Ray McWilliams of Austin; sister, Heather Schlueter and her husband Kenny of Austin; step-brother, Tony Nolen of Round Rock; mother and father-in-law, Patricia and Darrell Rusher of Round Rock; sister-in-law, Tina Callahan of Georgetown; life-long friend, Richard Young of Cedar Creek, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Randy’s life will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 2:00p.m. at Cook- Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas.
