Robert Lee Heil of Georgetown, Texas formerly of Morris, MN passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2007, 4:45 p.m. at the Georgetown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after his courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Robert was born on December 18, 1930 to Edward and Viola (Nohl) in Hancock, MN. He was raised and went to school in Hancock, MN. On March 14, 1953 he was married to Lucille Ann (Krupke) at her home in Hancock. Robert and Lucille raised 5 children. He was Baptized at First Lutheran Church in Morris and after moving to Texas attended Christ Lutheran Church in Georgetown. Robert farmed outside Hancock for 32 years before moving in June 1985 to Georgetown where he opened Heil Cabinets with two of his sons. We were all blessed with the opportunity to see the work he was so proud of in the homes he worked on with personal tours, where the pride he took in a job well done was also recognized in the men who worked with and for him. He surrounded himself with very talented carpenters who never thought of him as a boss but rather they were just like part of his family. Rob cherished the many backyard fish fries with all of his men and their families, enjoying talking about all the different jobs they were involved in and their families. Each had a special place in Rob's heart. When not working he and Lucille enjoyed bowling together and the many friends they made along the way. The ultimate joy of bowling for Robert was reached when he bowled a perfect 300 game in a tournament. Robert is survived by his wife, Lucille of 54 years; 2 daughters Deborah (Gary) McHone of Georgetown, TX, Jodi (Chris) Austen of Pflugerville, TX; 3 sons Brad (Pam) of Morris, MN, Wayne (Deborah) of Dripping Springs, TX, John (Tracie Lynn) Austin, TX; 3 sisters Margaret (Tom) Wolhowe of Staples, MN, Dorothy (Dennis) Thompson of Sioux Falls, SD, Vicki (Randy) Hodapp of Richfield, MN; 2 brothers Lloyd (Evie) of Bloomington, MN, Charles of Egan, MN; 10 grandchildren Stacey, Kelly, Katie, Ann, David, Sara, Jennifer, Andrew, Sydni, Olivia; 6 great-grandchildren Drea Lee, Kellen, Corrie, Charli, Emma, Ryann. Robert is preceded in death by his mother, Viola, his father Edward, stepmother LaVerna, and 2 brothers Howard and Kenneth. A Memorial Service celebrating Robert's Life will take place at Christ Lutheran Church at 510 Luther Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628 at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2007.
