Robert Gary Stark passed away on July 29, 2020 with his daughters by his side. He was born January 10, 1955 in Sioux Falls, SD and was 65 years old. Robert lived most of his life in Sioux Falls and recently moved to Georgetown Texas to be with family.
Robert was a humble man who rarely spoke of his accomplishments or needs. He was hard working and wanted to provide the best for his family. He enjoyed fishing trips, camping, hunting, rooting for the Chicago Bears, grilling out and playing games with family. He passed on his love of cribbage to his children and grandchildren. He loved picking green apples right from the tree and indulging in chocolate chip cookies. Most of all he loved being in Texas with family. He spent hours sitting on the porch watching the deer, having coffee and enjoying the time with his girls. His love was unconditional and the bond he created with family and friends is unbreakable and will live on forever.
Cancer may have taken away his abilities to do some of the things he loved, but it didn’t take away his spirit and joy of life. He taught those around him to be strong as he battled this disease and his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife Shirley, his father, Gehardt and his grandson, Nathan. He was a loving father and is survived by his daughter Lori Edgington and husband, Tony; daughter Brandy Enright and fiancé, William; daughter, Tracy Satrang and husband, Jeff; son, Brian Mays; son, Kevin Mays; son, Ryan Mays; daughter, Kasie Mays. His cherished grandchildren;\, Todd, Tanner, Bailey, Tyler, Austin, Junior, Jacob, Jase, Ava, Avery, Violet, and Oliver; great grandchildren, Krew and Bricelyn. He is also survived by his mother, Joan Johnson and siblings, Pam Neal and husband Neal, Darin Johnson and wife Lucy and many dearly loved relatives and friends.
