

On April 17, 2014 Roger passed away due to natural causes. He was 67 years old.
Roger Brown was born in Seattle, Washington on September 1, 1946. He was the second child born to Virginia and Landon Brown.
After graduation from Millikan High School in Long Beach, California, Roger went on to serve four years in the United States Marine Corps. He later graduated from California State University in Sacramento with a degree in Business.
Roger joined the US Department of State and worked as a Special Agent with Diplomatic Security. This career took him and his family all over the world. Roger retired in 1999 after 24 years of service. He worked for Science Applications International (SAIC) under contract for New Mexico Tech until 2003 when Roger decided it was time to fully enjoy the retired life.
Roger enjoyed wood working, golf, reading and ham radio. His most precious time was spent with his family.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Allison Griggs and his father Landon Brown.
Roger will be missed by his loving family which includes his wife of 44 years, Diane; two children, Windy Brown and Heather Regula; his mother, Virginia Brown; two brothers, Kent Brown and Tim Brown; two sisters, Connie Chensky and Jeanne Thomas; and three grandchildren, Alexis Griggs, Haley Regula and Taylor Regula. Roger’s large extended family will miss him greatly.
