

Russ Case, age 63, of Georgetown, Texas, formerly of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2010. He was born in Marshalltown, Iowa on January 3, 1947 to parents Calvin Case and Lila Bookens Case. Russ loved to bowl. He had been bowling since he was a young child. Russ was a member of the Thursday Thunders in Georgetown and the Highland Mix Masters in Austin. He enjoyed all kinds of sports including NASCAR.
Russ will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Janie Case of Georgetown, Texas; his son, Jason Case and wife Wanda of Fritch, Texas; granddaughters, Brianna Case of Fritch, Texas and Miranda Case of Round Rock, Texas; sisters, June Case of Austin, Texas and Dolores Lisk of Davenport, Iowa; and five nephews.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home with Chaplain Dean Hamilton officiating. Graveside services will follow at 6:30 P.M. at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hempstead, Texas.
