She was born in Irving, Texas on July 27, 1968. She graduated from Amarillo College and was a corporate travel agent. In her free time, Tracy enjoyed spending time with friends and family, watching NASCAR, and going to comic conventions. She was a loving and loyal friend, and a great daughter, sister, and mother.
She is survived by her mother, Dortha Everitt; brother, Steven Sims and sister-in-law Colleen Sims; daughter, Brittany Makitalo and son-in-law Aaron Makitalo; and two grandchildren, Natalie Makitalo and Caleb Makitalo.
She is preceded in death by her father, Dean Sims; stepfather, James Everitt; and her beloved dog, Bella.
A celebration of life for Tracy will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
