William Douglas Meeks

William Douglas Meeks, age 62, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2007. William was born on July 29, 1944, to Quarrels Sutton Meeks and Ora Irene Cantrell Meeks in St. Louis, MO. William later married Mary Lou Reeves on December 8, 1962 in St. Louis, MO. Before retirement, William served as a Security Screener with our Federal Homeland Security Department. William is survived by his daughters, Christine Marie (Edwardo) Zubizarreta of Richmond, TX, Karen Renee (Christopher) O’Brien of Nashville, TN, and Sondra (George) Carroll of Georgetown, TX; son, Daniel Douglas (Mindi) Meeks of Schertz, TX; and sister Shirley Koyn of St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou, in 2003. A Memorial Service for Mr. Meeks will be Monday, March 12, 2007, 5:00PM at the Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Andice, TX with Pastor John Paul Kessie officiating.
