I have just now learned of Arlin's passing.  Arlin's mother and my mother were cousins, and I remember him as a baby.  Somewhere in my mother's pictures there is a picture of me trying to teach him how to crawl.  Through the years we lost touch with each other, and the last time I saw him  was in 2001.  I am so sorry for your loss.  When I was small he was the baby brother that I never had.

I knew Arlin in college at Troy State. We were fraternity brothers and he was always full of energy. I have so many stories, but the bottom line is Arlin was always there for you. He was one of a kind that always reached out to others to help them when times were difficult. In a time when most people were looking out for themselves, Arlin was always looking out for others. A rare individual that will be sorely missed. God Bless you Arlin.

My brother Taylor and I grew up in Georgiana knowing Arlin and are very sorry to learn of his passing.  Our best wishes and condolences to his family and friends.
