Funeral Service for Mrs. Mary Ellen Blackburn, 76, of Georgiana will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 2pm on Sunday, September 19, 2021 with Bro. Randy Harvill and Bro. Randy Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Saturday evening. Mrs. Blackburn passed away on Thursday September 16th, 2021 in Greenville.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Rex Blackburn; daughter Lisa Peavy (Joey); son Michael Blackburn (Rachel); grandchildren Jordan Owens (Wyatt), Joseph Peavy, Peyton Burleson, Mary Kathryn Blackburn; great grandchild Brantley Ellen Owens; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Edward and Mary Frances McNaughton; and brother John William "Bill" McNaughton.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Peavy, Wyatt Owens, Darryl McNaughton, Shannon Killough, Chris Kelley, and George Kelley.
Flowers will be accepted but donations may also be made to the Providence Cemetery Fund in care of Shelba Black.
