Merle Dean, 89, a resident of Georgiana, Alabama passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Mt Pisgah Cemetery with Rev. Allen Stephenson officiating and Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, Alabama directing arrangements. Ms. Dean is preceded in death by her Parents: Henry & Myrtle Herring, Sister: Tip Herring, Brother: Billy Herring. Ms. Dean is survived by her Husband: Renford Dean, Bay Minette, Alabama; Daughters: Deborah Vermoral, Gainesville, Florida, Viki Siegel, Columbia, South Carolina; Sons, Steve Dean, Lee Dean, all of Georgiana, Alabama; Sisters, Mattie Jo Neese, Barbara Taylor; Brothers, Randall (Mary) Herring, Henry Herring; Sister-In-Law: Paula Herring; 9 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren.
