William Cobb

Graveside service for Mr. William "Billy" Cobb, 80, of Georgiana will be held at 10am on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at Wesley Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Terry Cook officiating. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6-8pm at the Funeral home. Mr. Cobb passed away on Monday at his home.

He is survived by daughter Kristi Newmeyer (Brian); grandchild Colin Newmeyer (Jordan); great grandchildren Regan, Logan, Mary Reid; siblings Shirley Green, Opal Cobb; several nieces and nephews; and his special companion, Jane.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Shirley Cobb; sister Patricia Garrett; parents Leon Cobb and Eva McLeod; and step father Farrell McLeod.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mr. Cobb was a good ol' country boy who loved to hunt and fish and farm his land. He retired from the U.S National Guard. Mr. Cobb loved his chihuahua Baxter. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother and will be missed.
