Memorial service will be at 1:00pm, Monday, February 2, 2026, at St Francis Episcopal Church, 14 East 20th Street, Scottsbluff, NE.
She was born September 8, 1962, in Bridgeport, NE, to loving parents Bob and Anne (Brening) Durnal. She attended school in Scottsbluff and graduated from Gering High School.
She married the love of her life Victor Hawkings on June 4th, 1994, in Gering. She also loved her family, especially her grandchildren, animals, and was very kind.
She is preceded by her grandparents David and Anna Brening and Leo and Marie Durnal.
She is succeeded by her husband of 31 years, Victor Hawkins; children Amanda Engstrom, Jennifer Witte, John Hawkins, and Shane Hawkins; grandchildren Andrew, Tyler and Calvin; parents Bob and Anne Durnal; siblings Tami (Spouse) Fox and Missi (Spouse) Adams and many nieces and nephews.
