Born in Glace Bay he was the son of the late Archibald and Alice (Duder) Weeks.He was a resident of Toronto for many years and returned home to live with his sister Barbara who is the last surviving member of the family.
Surviving are his sister Barbara and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Kay is predeceased by a brother John and nephew David.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St Glace Bay, there will be a private family graveside service at a later date.
