Charlotte Anderson, – 99 of Glace Bay passed away April 7th, 2022 at Maple Hill Manor, New Waterford. A life long resident of Cape Breton, Charlotte worked for 37 years at the Glace Bay General Hospital, as the department head for admitting. In her earlier years she was an active member at her church St Paul’s Presbyterian, Glace Bay.
She is survived by her daughter Charlene (Nash) Halifax ; brother Johnny MacKinnon, Marion Bridge ; grandsons Bradley ( Catherine) Halifax ; Brian (Michelle) Kinkora; 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Charlotte was predeceased by her husband Andrew “Gumps” ; infant daughter Catherine Elizabeth; sister Kay McInnis; son in law Vernon Nash.
The family would like to acknowledge Joe Noseworthy and the amazing staff at Maple Hill Manor. A heartfelt thank you for the love, support, care and compassion they provided. A very special thank you to nieces Rhonda McInnis and Cathy Burke for all you have done.
A private family service will be held at the later time. Donations may be made in Charlotte’s name to St Paul’s Presbyterian church , Glace Bay.
