Diane Marie MacVicar

Born in Glace Bay she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Marjorie McIntyre.

Diane Loved to listen to music, and when her health would allow her, she was very active in St. Paul’s Church Choir and also enjoyed her weekly Bible study group. She loved to spend time with her family, and loved spending many hours decorating her home that she was so proud of.

She is survived by loving husband Angus, son Blair (Lisa); daughter Diane (Michael); grandchildren Kelly (Christopher), Cory (Rebecca), Bethany, Cale; great granddaughter Carlee; siblings Margaret (Will) Higgins, Wayne (Marie), Malcolm (Candida); sister-in-law and Best Friend Betty Parks and many nieces and nephews.

In following Diane’s wishes cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Thursday January 18, 2024 from 1-3pm with service to follow in Patten Funeral Home Chapel at 3pm with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Burial to take place in Black Brook Cemetery at a later date.
