Gerald James Dawe

Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Lillian Dawe. He was an employee of the C.B. Development Corp. (Devco).

He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Boch), daughters, Debbie Colson (Brian), Reserve, Nancy Gill (Ken MacDougall), Sydney, Margaret Dawe (Harold Knox) Glace Bay, sister, Mary Fitzpatrick, Alberta, brothers, Frank, PEI and Albert, N.B. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Gerald was predeceased by his mother, Lillian and brothers, Cecil, Ed and Gordon.

Visitation for Gerald James Dawe will take place at Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union Street, Glace Bay on Thursday, June 2,2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will follow on Friday at 11:00 am in Patten Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Findlayson officiating and interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney.
