Ivy Bernice Milley

Ivy was predeceased by her parents John & Lillian Hann, her sister Daisy, brothers Robert, Gus and Cecil.

Her husband William Milley, her daughter Marilyn, sons Bill and Carl and grandson Andrew.

She is survived by her son Donnie and daughter Darlene (Conrad) of Calgary AB. Her grandchildren Misty, Brandy, Carla, Lyssa, Josh, Natashka and Shelby her 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, including niece Shirley Budden, whom she was especially close to, as well as her life long best friend Audrey Mercer.

Ivy grew up in Glace Bay, but moved away to Ontario with her husband William. Upon retirement they moved to Tatamagouche, NS and Ivy eventually moved back to Glace Bay once her beloved William passed away.

Ivy was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who had a wonderful zest for life. She was a nurse and loved to help everyone with her love, food and of course deserts. Ivy loved the Salvation Army and was involved with them her entire life. She loved Gospel and Country and Western music and singing. She was always so happy when her family was with her.

Ivy will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Her funeral service will be held at the Salvation Army in Glace Bay at 11:00am on Saturday, July 11. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family by visiting pattenfuneral.com.
