Jacqueline Peach

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt Jacqueline Peach, who passed away at her home in Glace Bay on Monday, July 22, 2024. Jacqueline was born on September 30, 1952, in Glace Bay to the late Tom Kelloway and Sarah (Payne).

Besides her parents she was also predeceased by her husband Francis, sisters Wanda, Judy and Ellen, brother Bill and nephews Joey, Butch, Chickie and Richie.

Left to mourn her passing is her family twin sister Kathleen, sister Phyllis (Curtis), brothers Tom (Marjorie), Barry (Edith), John (Donna), sister-in-law Mary Jane Peach and many nieces, nephews and godchildren. She will also be deeply missed by best friend Judy Burchell.

Jacqueline especially enjoyed spending time with her twin sister Kay. Going to town together everyday and never missing an episode of Coronation Street. She was a longtime volunteer with the Town House in Glace Bay. She also enjoyed darts, going to the casino, bingo, babysitting, cards and attending all of the many family activities.

A visitation will be held from 3-6pm on Monday, July 29 with closing prayers being said at the end of the wake. Burial will take place at a later time in Greenwood Cemetery. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family by visiting www.pattenfuneral.com.
