Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Robert (Toomey) MacPherson, and brothers Clarence and Claude MacNevin.
Phyllis is survived by her sons Colin (Chris), Keith (Lorna) and John (Susan), grandchildren Kristal, Robert (Lauren), Erin (Jason), Nicole (Craig), Jenna (Justin), Natalie (Jason), Connor and Corey. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Peter, Morgan, Rylan and Niko.
Mom graduated from Glace Bay General Hospital School of Nursing and upon graduation, practiced nursing at Glace Bay General Hospital for 40 years.
As per mom's wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will occur at Forest Haven Cemetery.
