Robert Barry MacLeod

MacLeod, Robert Barry ~ age 64 of Middleton, NS, formerly of Glace Bay, NS, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025, in the Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Centre in Middleton surrounded by his loving family. Born in Glace Bay, NS he was a son of the late John Robert and Mary Elizabeth (Patton) MacLeod. Robert loved sports, especially watching races and was an avid hockey fan. He always visited Tim Horton’s and Mary Brown’s. Robert was a very social person, even though he was hearing impaired. He will be fondly remembered for his beautiful smile. Robert is survived by his sister, Candace (Alfred) Burt, Greenwood; brother, James Alexander MacLeod, Dorchester, NB; nieces and nephew, Erin Scott, Kingston; Kimberly MacLeod, Dorchester, NB; Cindy MacLeod, Ontario; Sandy MacLeod, Alberta; great nieces and great nephews, Adrianna and Lucas Scott, Nova Scotia; Jeremy MacLeod and Jamie Sherrard, New Brunswick. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Sheila MacLeod. In keeping with Roberts’ wishes, cremation has taken place. A time of gather will be held from 11am until 2pm at Patten Funeral Home, Glace Bay followed by a celebration of his life at 2pm.
