It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother Russell Lynk on Monday, November 17, 2025. Born in Sydney Mines on December 10, 1948 to the late Russell and Gloria (Manzine) Lynk. Russell was a private, quiet person who was never happier than when he was puttering around at home or out on a walk with his dog Titan.
Russell will be dearly missed by his spouse Margaret Summerell, children Robbie, Russell jr., Virginia and Stephanie, step children Dayna (Trevor) and Matthew. He is also survived by his siblings Mary (Byron), Karen, Judy (Boyd), Donna (Terry), John (Darlene) and Kevin and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. As per his wishes there will be no service. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family by visiting pattenfuneral.com. If desired, donations in Russell's memory may be made to the IWK or the Tim Horton Camp.
