She had no children and was widowed after marriage to Robert Bratcher. She worked at National Bellas Hess as an elevator operator. She travelled to Alaska with her husband and lived for 6 months. She worked in Housekeeping at the Independence Sanitarium Hospital until her retirement. She lived at the Groves Nursing Care since September 2008, 14 1/2 years. People who knew her describe her as sweet and kind.
She enjoyed the children of her siblings, Irvin Wickam, Irl Wickam, and Beulah Holt who have preceded her in death.
He parents were Andrew Joseph Wickam and Winnie Mae Rucker Wickam who have preceded her in death.
Her remaining family were with her in her last hours and she was honored by: Nephews, Gary Michael Hayes, Jerry Wickam, Thayne Wickam, and nieces, Danni J. Johnston, Charlene Wickam, and Susan K Connor. Their children and grandchildren were present to comfort her.
Anna will be laid to rest in White Chapel Cemetery.
