Donald was born on October 11, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri to Ashby and Shirley Edmonds. He graduated from Oak Park High School in 1971. Donald married his high school sweetheart Debbie in 1971. After settling down in Parkville the couple welcomed 2 children into their home, Angela and Brian.
Donald retired from the Park Hill School District in 2012. Donald was passionate about motorcycles. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and extremely patriotic. Donald was a member of Gashland Baptist Church.
After losing his wife to cancer in 2011, Donald remarried Linda Lindberg in 2014. They eventually moved to North Carolina in 2016 where he enjoyed his time exploring his land on his tractor and mower.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronald, and his first wife Debbie.
Donald is survived by his wife, Linda; his daughter, Angela Richman of Stover, MO; his son, Brian Edmonds (Yvette) of Milton, FL; step-son Charles Lindberg (Nancy) of Holt, MO; step-daughter, Jennifer Mueller (Kevin) of Kansas City, MO; step-daughter, Tiffany Kiehl (Richard) of Platte City, MO; 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
